car died on the freeway tonight
Well I was on the way to a friends house and all of a sudden it's start to die then dies. I was pissed. I didn't know what the ---- at first. I wasn't really thinking, so pissed. it didn't turn over like the battery was dead or in limp mode or something. I'm thinking a sensor or something went bad. so anyway after trying to call someone I came back to the car and for who knows what reason I reset the ecu, put the fuses I removed back in, jumped started it in reverse and it started right up??? I get down the road a little and it starts to die again, but I'm able to get it in a great spot to work on it now. turns out the connectors on the alt. weren't pluged in :1 :1 . I'm pretty sure I drove it like this before for like 50 miles plus like15-20 today..... This doesn't hurt anything, but the battery does it? Yeah so make sure everythings buttoned up after working ;)

Re: car died on the freeway tonight
ya just let it charge on a charger over night or a nice long drive around town. But the battery could be poop now. If it's quite old then more likely, if its new then you might be safe.

Re: car died on the freeway tonight
it's pretty new. I just parked it last night and haven't ---- with it. I'm going to go see if it holded (that doesn't sound right) a charge, I drove like 30 miles to get it home.
