can u put a dohc zc head on a sohc zc block???
You can do it. It has been done, but it requires a bit of work and the gains aren't any better than using a y8/z6 head. Search on honda-tech for the details if you want. One bolt hole is off by about ¼" and the cylinders are off by 2-3mm. Definately not a good idea.
Yeah, I remember some ***** doing that on another site. Kinda pointless if you ask me, but I guess it's worth a shot. Nothing wrong with trying something new to see how it works.

Just get a d16 head gasket and put it on the zc head, you'll see how much off it is. I tried it once, I think 2 head bolts dont align, and a few of the oil ports need to be chamfered. Also if you do decide to do it, you need to use a ZC crank gear.
