Those lines are for the power steering.

If you are taking the power steering out, then you can remove all of the lines, and loop them at the steering rack.

Otherwise, if you like having the power steering you are S.O.L.

 

correct me if i'm wrong, but aren't those cooler lines for the p/s fluid? And aren't they only found on integras? Why do you want to move/remove them, you doing a wire tuck?

 

so if you have a power steering rack and you take the lines off of it wont you sill have a power steering rack with no juice going to it?

 

Yes, the ratio's are slightly longer with the PS rack as opposed to the non PS rack. However many many people that remove the PS simply loop a hose from the "in" to the "out" to prevent fluid loss, and ---- from getting inside the rack.

must be an eg/dc thing cause my ek doesn't have them Are they for a cooler or is there just no reason why they go to the front like that?

 

ya, there is a cooler. not much of one though. it sits in front of where the a/c condenser would go
