i mean the main head studs to the block............the tread in the block got fucked....the 4 stud tread sorrounding #1 cylinder

you might have to weld it closed drill it out and tap it... maybe a helicoil kit will work i dont know what amount of froce a heli kit can do.

yes. the heli coil will work. drill it out straight!!!!! then re-tap and heil coil it. torque to spec.

yes it will hold.. i stripped out a tread in a block before and fixed it with a helicoil and i never had problems with it..that was on a D16Z6 on my old delsol.
