Camshaft break-in ??? Comp 59300

I'm getting ready to fire up my new motor tomorrow in my HF crx. Its a d16Z6 completely rebuilt with vitaras, TT H-beams, new oil/water pump, ported/polished head, springs/retainers, and of course a comp 59300 cam. This is the first time I have ran a new cam in a honda and I was wondering wat the break-in process is (especially for the people with this cam). In the past with my small-block chevys I would start the motor up and let it run for 20-25 min. @2500 rpm, shut it off, change the oil and filter and and that would be it. My cam came from comp with a blank cam card.....and installation instructions for a pushrod V8. I tred calling comp cam's tech line but its always busy and I dont have time to sit on hold for 30 min. Any help would be appreciated!!

was this originally your cam, i mean is it a regrind of your old cam?
i would think if it is not your cam, then you should plastigauge the caps/bearings and see if it is within spec.

no its not a regrind, the cam is brand new. The head was completely spec'd and assembled at a machine shop

No break in period with cams. I break them in with rev limiter drops and orange chicken waitin for the victory lap

SBC has non roller lifters that must wear match (break-in) on a new cam.

No lifters = no break-in, Smear a little cam lube on all journals and lobes, install, time, fire it up. 5 minutes and ready to go, about how long it'll take to verify cam timing and set ignitrion timing
