Okay, Ive got a set of whats supposed to be GSR cams, but after closer inspection Im not so sure.
Heres a comparison of cam lobe height measurements: Int1 Int2 vtec Exh1 Exh2 vtec B16 34.9 33.0 36.2 32.7 34.6 35.6 GSR? 35.2 33.0 35.6 32.0 34.6 35.1 I checked my B16 #'s against Helms and they are correct. It is my understanding that B18c's have slightly diff. rocker lengths (rocker ratio), true? Judging by these profiles, theres no way these are gonna give me more lift than than my stock ones.... TIA, Dave Here are some ID pics of the 'GSRs' http://a2.cpimg.com/image/AA/D3/2140...-00DF0200-.jpg http://a3.cpimg.com/image/AB/D3/2140...-0147017E-.jpg http://a4.cpimg.com/image/AC/D4/2140...-020000EC-.jpg |

do b16a and b18c cams have different base circles?
those lobs look like they have less lift than the cams in my b20 head |
Re:Cam ID dorks enquire within (pics)
i think the only diffrence youll feel on a B16 with GSR cams is a little more tq on the lower end. I thik what really makes the diff. is hte 1.8L and not hte cams. and the head flows better. but all it takes is a little but more fatty lobes and a better flowiung head to make more HP. I would say tehy are civic SI or GSR(b17) cams. the grind looks fatter than on the B16 ones i would have to say they are GSR maby B17 cams.
