Re:cali smog
if u swapping engines and want to keep it legit, u need to make sure that the engine is newer than ur car, have the stock ecu, all of the stock engine parts (i.e. intake, headers, catalytic converter, etc)... You also need to get it reffed. Once its ref, you are legal and can smog whereever the ---- you want in cali.

Re:cali smog
thats for sure...i dont wanan be drving around with an unregistered/non smogged vehichle.........so new question, it would be cool to go b16a aslong as its a 91 motor cause my car is a 90, and aslong as the vacum lines and all that good stuff matched up with the ones in the us helms manual for a del sol or civic....then i should be cool?
