Default c-pillar bar

has any one actually noticed a difference in handling after installing a c-pillar bar (or are they just for show)
if so how much and in what car

Well in theory a C-pillar bar stiffens up the chassis nicely since the top of the car is where the most flex happens.

But in reality, yeah, they're mostly just for show.

Considering all the flex in the top of the car you can hear when going in and out of driveways, I'd imagine they might help...

Just sucks for anyone in the back since it's like a metal headrest for them.
