so i checked the freon level with a gauge and it was in the red zone. as in overcharged, i remember adding some freon a couple months ago just for the ---- of it. so my compressor wouldn't stay on cause of the higher freon psi. i let enough freon out to where the gauge was in the blue or filled. now the a/c compressor stays on but the air isn't so cold. how do i check to see if it's the evaporator,dryer or the condernsor?

What temp is it where you live? That has a lot to do with the suction pressure.

 

it was about 80 degrees when i checked it this past saturday. it's colder now, in the 50s' but i want to fix it cause i'm in miami,fl and even though it's in the 50s' now, next week it could be in the 80s' again.
