burns oil no smoke, drinks coolant

well pretty much my d16z6 goes throw about a quart a month on daily driving, the radiator is empty about every other week and i catch these things before its get dangerously lower. i dont drip much oil beside the lil from the oil pan gasket, easy fix, the lower timing cover looks like it has a some coolant coming out, prolly water pump, but my car will over heat a tad to just about alot even with the radiator full. i jiggled the fan connector and it kicked on and since then my coolant level has been better.

i guess my question is i've got a decent head that ran perfect ready to be put on if valve seals sound to be whats wrong?

compression showed 185-190 across the board.
oh also should i have the head true'd?? came off a running motor that was good.
