im going to say not a pvc issue.. iv run a breather filter on the valvecover and holowed out pvc to the ground on 2 of my setups. only oil burning issues i had was from the leaky valve stems.. iv also run proper ventilation and i dint notice a differance, except i had to epty my catch can every month..

typicaly as long as you dont leave the pvc stock, you will be ok.. there is better ways to do it, but it works.....

So I'm looking at valve stems... sounds fun. Never done that before, should be an interesting challenge.

I'll check it when I get time and post up

I've noticed it smokes the worst at low rpms + no load i.e idle in traffic

I had my girl follow me and she says it doesn't smoke when going down the highway (under load). What you think?

Does it smoke on deceleration like cruising in 3rd or 4th and just lifting off the throttle so you're pulling lots of vacuum? if so that is valve seals.

yea it will let off a pretty good cloud if i decel and let it drop to about 25" vac, then when i give it throttle it immediately belches a cloud of smoke.

I don't have my manual here with me how difficult is it to change those out? How involved?

I wasn't asking for step by step directions, just curious how involved it is. Like do I have to remove the head or whatever. I'll have the manual in hand later tonight/tomorrow.
