Just got my block in the door from UPS, cracked her open and found this broken piece

Took a shitty pic of it on the block, its on the bottom back timing belt side but the flash fucked

Then I took it off and took another pic




I dont even know WTF it is, if I can JB weld it or if Its needs to be rewelded, junkyard another one

lol, that's your bottom alternator bracket, you can get another one for dirt cheap, or take it off you're current block when you swap them out i wouldn't jb weld it though.

 

Ya I just wasnt thinking abut the placement and what goes there, I can just take it off my A6 when I swap em, stupid post

well I guess Im gonna have to go snap a pic of the broken sensor on the back of the block to, one of the little gold connectors snapped off

 

There is nothing wrong with the bracket....someone's alternator got owned by that D.
