its on the back of the throtle body on a 89 si intake mani. im using it on a 92 z6 to run obd0. my question is, HOW DO I GET THAT MOTHA OFF? I looked at it and couldn't figure it out. anyone?

 

You must be looking at the Throttle Position Sensor?

An easy way is to notch the two bolts with a dremel so that you can use a screwdriver. Dont make ----- notches either, the bolts are soft.

 

Definatly need to take the throttle body off (for first time doing this) as Dave said, make a few cuts with a dremel disc in the break away screws, and your good to go.

Just replace them with normal screws, and besure to set the tps back to .4 / .5 v closed throttle.
