Did you bench bleed the master cyclinder before you put it on?

Re: brakes are pissing me the fuck off
put the car on jackstands in the front or just a jack with the wheels on it and see what happens
and how are you bleeding the brakes? are you pumping the hell out of them then cracking the bleeder my bet is on effed bearings and yes they will cause it if urs sitting still or air in the lines..... |

The way you bleed can make the difference. The tried and true 2-man method of pump&piss works, but the 1-man vacuum or auto-bleeder can leave air in the lines. Next time you turn the car on, pull the line to the booster just to rule that our. One thing I'm thinking it could be is some weird-ass play issues between the BB/MC/pedal. With the engine on, it could be creating a gap. Regardless of why its broke, I'm thinking it probably is the BB. That's the one major part you didn't replace, and the only thing that really changes when you turn the engine on (big vacuum drawn inside it). BTW make sure none of your lines/fittings/etc are leaking. |
Re: brakes are pissing me the fuck off
check the slide pins on the calipers too, if one is binding it will cause a condition that feels like a bad m/c
|
Re: brakes are pissing me the fuck off
bullshit, stilll pissing me off...
just replaced the really, really bad wheel bearing and it still has the issue. |
Re: brakes are pissing me the fuck off
sell it and buy another with good brakes. LOL

Have you checked the calipers? A bent slide pin?
