Who uses them and who drills them out, mine are gone as of yesterday

Re: Brake rotor screws

Take them out. Less rotational weight.

Re: Brake rotor screws

finger tight them so it holds the rotor in place when the wheel came off.

Re: Brake rotor screws

You can't really take them out without stripping them to ---- usually without using a impact driver.

I drill them out, never had any problems...the caliper hold the rotor on with the wheel off,

Re: Brake rotor screws

hit the screw itself with a hammer will shock it loose.

silver paste, sumthang called anti-seize compound.

A MUST when working with cadium plated parts.

That's what I do. Never had any problems this way.

If you didn't do it this way, then an impact driver is a must with the proper bit size.

As long as the rotors are hub centric there won't be any problems. If not, use the screws, don't ever trust the studs to be centered perfect or the holes in the rotors to the perfect size.
