Brake Booster FUDGED?? UPDATED NEED HELP ASAP
I'll make this short and sweet.
1- Parked the car last night, then got back in the car 2 hours later. BRAKE light came on.
2- Drove it home (brakes worked), pulled in driveway, checked the reservoir. Bitch is empty.
3- Figured it must have just gotten low (its been a while since I've had to add ANY AT ALL)
4- Filled it up. Then went to bed.
5- Got up this morning. Started her up. Noticed the brake light was on AGAIN!
6- As I was driving to work I noticed the brakes were VERY SPONGY, so I babied it to work.
7- Pulled up to work (brakes barely working) and checked the reservoir again. EMPTY!
8- Checked closer with a flashlight and its leaking from where the reservoir bolts to the booster (i.e big black thing)
My question is, is it possible the reservoir went bad or am I possibly looking at replacing the whole ------- unit? I'm not sure how I'm going to get the car home to work on it just yet. I'll be here for another 11 hours...
Also, I've never had to price anything like this on a honda civic. Any experience with that?
BTW obviously I've never had to replace something like this on any of my cars so I have ZERO experience with that. (other than pads and discs)

So I got it apart, and I'm pretty sure this isn't what failed... and this can't be what holds the brake fluid under pressure. So I'm thinking you're right Complex. I'm going to need a new MC. Let me know guys, I have to leave in about 10 mins to get a new one.

yea just got finished replacing the MC. surprisingly it only took me about an hour to: bench bleed the MC without a bench or vice lol, install the MC, and bleed the brakes. So now I have brakes again. Thanks for the advice guys.
