Bottom end balance?

When you guys build a bottom end with Eagle rods/SRP pistons do you get the rotating assembly balanced or do you not bother? I'm currently doing an A6 low compression and was thinking while the blocks away being bored maybe i should get it balanced too.

your views please...

Since your're there you might as well balance it all. When I put eagles and srp's into my z6 i had it balanced, it was only 195 bucks. My machinist also said that if it wasn't balanced it would beat the ---- out of hte main bearings. just my 2 cents

most manufacturers balance pistons to the gram before they pack them up for you
rods are a bit more iffy

i would never balance the crank again. Did it once, and that ---- was wobbling like a frisbee.

I do myself as I figure why not just spend the little extra and do it right.

you can do rods/pistons yourself, it's the spin balance that's tricksy.
