Boost please

Okay i'm going to be running a t3 turbo (don't know the trim size sorry) on my LS/vtec on stock pistons and rods (for now), anyone have an idea on what i can boost safely on the stock internals? B18A1 block with new rings and bearings, GSR head. Both are OEM minus cam gears.

Sorry for the newbee question i'm new to turbos.

yeah what layer head gasket do u have and your block fine for boost just dont lean out make sure u run rich my advise is to spend som extra money and get a wide band and set it to about 11:1 or so just to be safe and boost 11psi and have fun with 300 or so hp...

Re: Boost please

well thats fine that ur running the p28 infact its better it will be easier to tune it on 91 octane u can get it tuned safely on 10-12psi and ur car will rip i live in cali so i know its hard to get anything else than 91 just make sure ur air/fuel ratio is right thats what will make ur car detonate..what size injectors r u running and is the t3 after market or volvo t3 or somthing like that...

ohhhh yes for sure my freind had a 2000 si with an ls vtec in it it was tuned with chrome and he got it tuned on 91 octane and he boosted 18 psi at the track stock internals it dynod at 341whp at 18 psi thats pretty good considering it was a stock lsvtec he ran a 12.6@116 mph but it looses traction really easy just keep it safe and make sure make sure u get it wide baned or u will pop that bitch like a zit...
