Blown Ignition Coil
Last night I was attempting to race a TSI, As I was pulling on him my car just died. I pulled over and tried to figure out why my car wouldnt turn over. I popped off my distributer cap, and inside the coil was fried. There was a bunch of white ---- inside and a huge burn mark. This has happened to me before, I just thought that the coil was old. This coil that blew was only 6months old. What would cause my coil to blow like that?? Is there anything I can do to prevent this next time or was it a faulty coil?? I am running a 14b on a ZC.

Naw he had to double post the same thing inside the FI forum since he wasn't getting any bytes in this one. I can understand if you're all desperate and ---- and not a noob.
Well I think it was him, but I know for sure I just answered a post exactly like this one. |
