Bleed
 

I got my master cylinder replaced not to long ago and i thingk that the jack asses that did it didnt bleed the lines afteror what ever. Anyways here is the deal ever time i press down the clutch i loose the pedal all pressure is gone. ill pump it and it will come back about half pedal. then today when i finally got home there was no clutch what so ever. I think there is air in the line so i wa wondering if you guys can tell me what ill need and what to do to bleed the lines. By the way its an 89 prelude 2.0S carbed

You will need to losen up the bleed screw for the the clutch, which is near the tranny. It works better with 2 ppl. Either you or ur buddy, press down on the clutch with the bleed screw open. Then tighten the bleed screw and bring the clutch back up. losen it again and press on the clutch and thighten again.
Repeat the cycle until all the air is all out. Make sure the clutch resvior is not empty, otherwise air will get into the system again. Remember to keep the resvior full all the time.

well thats great no will someone tell me where the slave cylinder is on an 89 lude because semnos said i can do it from there to.

the bleeder screw is on the slave cylinder which is on the front of the tranny. if you have $30 burning a hole in your pocket, pick up a vacuum pump / bleeder kit from autozone - it makes the job alot easier.
