Benefit of lower compression? HG

What is the beneffit in lower the compression via headgasket for a turbo aplication?

For example, just i can go the same 200hp just safer than with a single headgasket?

high compression ratio will amplify the assbeat on a turbocharged engine's boost. keeping lower compression ratio keeps your engine safer and u can run more boost.

any reciprocating motor on aircraft run as low as 7:1 compression ratio cuz they run high amounts of boost on the motor at altitudes.

finding compression ratio: bore+stroke+head clearance / head clearance

A lower compression motor can run more timing and boost at the same octane compared to a higher compression motor. It will feel laggy comparied to the hi-comp motor, but it will be easyer to make more power.
