Battle of the Egay flywheels!
Is it worth it to get a flywheel? I heard OEM is best for boost so when you're shifting the revs won't drop as fast so you can stay in boost. Am I a noob or is this correct?

Re: Battle of the Egay flywheels!
for some reason, i would have a hard time putting trust in a ebay flywheel. I would much rather have a OEM flywheel than a a ebay.

Re: Battle of the Egay flywheels!
If its a machined flywheel you risk removing the work hardened outer casting leaving it prone to shatter.
If its a billet flywheel its less of a problem. Oh, shattering flywheels = lost gonads :o |
Re: Battle of the Egay flywheels!
Im running a 12lb steel one, I ------- love it
Makes downshifting so much more fun, it definetely makes a difference in traffic though Im running a 6puck unsprung cable driven clutch with my 12lb and its pretty shitty to move around slow Grips and shifts like a mother fucker though |
