battery relocation
 

do i have to make a cut off switch for my battery on the rear bumperand label it battery if i relocate it
i want to be able to race my car at the track and i was thinking abuot just taking the middle light part out my ef and moving the wire/cut off switch to that spot and put duct tape on my lower window that sais battery.. wat do u guys do

Depending on the track, you also need to have the battery in a nhra approved box, or have a firewall enclosure around it, seperating it from the driver's compartment. By some rules the box must also be vented outside the car and be welded to the floor.

Just do some research about the track you want to race at to be sure you have the rules followed. It's your best bet at doing it right.
