batt relocation ?s

ok ive got a 4th gen and thanks to honda being the master engineers that they are my battery sits right in the way of my charge piping GRRR

so to the trunk she goes

my only ? is i have a distribution block that i used to use for car audio

i plan on putting the 2 pos wires in that and running a 4 gauge to the trunk

but the thing has to be fused what do you recomend i fuse it at (its got 2 slots for glass fuses) or is there a better way to do it

thanks!

i used a solid distrubution block on my car. Then on the positive coming off the battery i have a circuit breaker. It good becuase i dont have to worry about fuses. Havnt had any problems yet

use 2 gauge, i think 4 is a little too small (fires suck)

I used 2o/t or 1o/t, whichever is smaller, it's bigger than 2 gauge. I don't have a fuse or a circuit breaker, it's been working fine so far. whenever I unghettoify my car I'm going to put in a circuit breaker.

i use 2 gauge welding cable and run 2 fuses. both 200 amp ANL fuses. one under the hood one in the trunk. 4 gauge will pass plenty of current. thats what we use on most of our customers cars. if you are thinking of using the round barrel type glass fuses, dont waste your time.

I've been running it like that for 2 years with no problems. as long as you're not a dumbass and don't let your positive wires touch grounds you won't have fires and ----.
