bad thermostat? fluxuating temp gauge
whenever i get into it the stock temperature gauge keeps on going to the cool side
it eventually goes all the way down if stay in it for a small period of time, most noticable in 5th gear -yes its full of coolant and holds pressure -its been going on since before i have been turbo'd -the only thing i can think of is a bad thermostat |

Air pockets would cause him to have hot spikes, not cold spikes

Re: bad thermostat? fluxuating temp gauge
uh huh, because air heats faster than water does.

Re: bad thermostat? fluxuating temp gauge
its not a quick spike, it just goes all the way down to cold , until i let off
if there was an air pocket i think it would continuously go from cold to normal operating temperature and not just stay cold |
