Default BAD CRX

Ok so I just have a question if anyone has had a problem like mine, so i got a 91 crx si, just put 35,000 mile motor in it (sohc ZC), no boost yet still N/A, started it up it idles fine, runs great until it gets to 4,000 RPM and then it starts missing real bad no check engine lights, no ecu codes, used all same sensors, intake manifold fuel everything that was on the car when it was running (before blowup), when its cold you can notice a slight miss around 2500 only when theres a load on it, significantly worse with a load, new timing belt, any info would be great pulling my hair here it gets around, but i feel bad for the car driving it.

4K+ glitches?

Check ignitor (does the tach needle jump around?)

Check thermostat housing ground.

So I went through and checked the timing, went to swap out the ignitor (got a cuple extra's), and as soon as i pulled the cap off the dist. my pinky hitthe neg wire on the coil, the screw that holds it tight was not doing its job it was broken and sitting in place still making contact but not good contact, was able to get screw out easy enough and replaced it car runs like a dream. Thanks for all the input that you guys gave.
