Default Bad crank

I have a sohc zc and it has a bad crank/over limit. What cranks can I use that will fit? What motor is closest to a sohc zc it has pm6 stamped all over it. Is it closest brother a d16a6?

My local yard has a lot of d16a1s around will this work?

No. U need a D16a6 crank if its a non-vtec Sohc or a D16z6 crank if its a vtec Sohc ZC.

---- it didn’t come with a head on it. So I have no idea if it was vtec or not. How do I tell?

I think the a6 and z6 use a diffrent main girdle. they might even use the same crank but im not 100% sure wait for some of the D-series Ninja's to chime in.

Ok did some searching. My crank on the sohc zc is 55 mm mains and 45 mm rods. The a6 and the z6 both use the same mm. Thy are also both a 90 mm stroke.

So either may work? Some one help me out Im a noob and dont know what to do. As far as the d16a1 I cant find any specks on that one.
