Bad Clutch Slippage?

Bad Clutch Slippage?
The past few weeks, when I really lay on it, my car smells a little like burning rubber, but it's not burning rubber.
I took my newer setup to the track last night... D series at 6-8#, newer Y8 tranny & Nitto 555R drag radials (among other things). I overrevved in the burnout box first run in 1st gear, so the next time I tried 2nd gear and while I was "burning out", I don't think the wheels were actually moving, but the RPMs were.
My 60' times were a hideous 2.4 seconds. After each run, I could smell that awful burning smell. Overall times were high 14s, which is terrible in comparison to my old setup.
Oh yeah, clutch is a 3 year old Clutchmasters Stage 1 clutch. I don't think it has that many miles on it and while I didn't think it was beaten on a whole lot, it probably has a few hundred 1/4 miles runs on it.

It smells like what you think a burning clutch would smell like... I'm just wondering if there's any doubt about it being the clutch or something else? I was hoping to get some more mileage out of it.

Re: Bad Clutch Slippage?
I usually don't drive too hard on the street. buit do go to the track regularly.
I looked at Clutchmasters site and stage 1 and it's good for basic bolt ons, 50HP Nos and non-FI applications. :P
