Okay, spoonfeeding's over, time to man up and put some work into it.

1) I re-read my reply... it makes sense. I explicitly tell you what each and every single mark means, within the context of the post I replied to. Use some common sense.

2) If you lack basic knowledge of your car, then you need to read a Helms manual on the subject. They are available free for download at the top of this forum, so you have no excuses for not knowing basic ----.

You are stating for the record that the factory service literature never states the procedure for setting ignition timing? Maybe if *you ever looked at it* you might have a different opinion.

And, read my reply again. At no point did I flame you. Flaming is more like when I insinuate that you are a spineless ****** who needs to have his e-hand held over an oil change, and that you should go back to altezzas, dope rimz, and ignorantly lowered cars since anything that requires grade school level competency is beyond you.

What dizzy are you using? Are you still on obd0, or obd1 conversion? These are some need to know questions. If you are using an obd0 dizzy that's hacked up to bolt onto the head, you have to add 2 wires to the dizzy for a sensor (tdc sensor maybe? can't remember exactly...J.Davis knows which one it is). It is possible that if you swapped the plugs as well that you mixed the 2 white wires up during the process. If you did an obd1 swap and are using the obd1 dizzy, you can't just match colors to colors for the dizzy wiring, they're totally different. Let me know what you've done, and if it's an obd1 swap, I have the correct wiring for using obd1 dizzy with the obd0 harness.

i used a 91 d16a6 distributor on a 92 d16z6 head with the original 90 dx wiring but with the mpfi swap. if that makes any sense. all the wring for the mpfi is right. i left alone the wires fro the distributor. i just matched the colors.

Haynes is useless. I said Helms for a reason. Notice how no one pir8's a Haynes? Could it be they are useless? PS if your MPFI dist wiring is correct then tell me dist side wire color to ECU pin... I bet it is wrong. And a Helms tells you dist plug to ECU plug tests under tdc.cyp.cyl tests in section 6...

what are being an ------- for. I SAID the wires on the distributor plug on the harness side match the plug and wires on the distributor side. also the two wires running from the ecu to the cylinder postion sensor are running right B/G to C1, B/Y to C2. the other wires on the dizzy are right as far as ive looked. I asked before if i had to switch any dizzy wires. Other than that im not to sure what else i've missed. Stop being a douche. my questions are repeated sometimes cuz i allways second guess myself. And At last is there a site where i can download a helms manual. Im sorry for wasteing your time with my BS questions, im still learning to do this ---- as i go. By myself and thru reading and HMT.

DX wire colors matching up to Si wiring colors is why your ---- doesnt run. Go Si dist plug pin to ECU plug pin as per Helms manual CEL 4.8.9 for the win. For the second time, check the stickies at the top of this forum for Helms downloads. Reading owns you.
