b20z or b16a turbo...
What do you think would be a better daily driver...I've got b16 in my gig now...but I've been thinking about changing to a b20z when I go turbo. What do you guys think? I guess the other thing I should ask is...what else do I need to put in a b20z (no VTEC head, just stock motor), and should I use the tranny that I've got, or go to a LS tranny. (The gearing is sooo low on this tranny that I'm afraid I will run out of RPM's on the highway)

Re:b20z or b16a turbo...
stick w/ the b16 for weight reasons aswell. turbo that, cost you much less and you will get a good response from the high revvin vtec with a turbo.

Re:b20z or b16a turbo...
do you find the front end a little heavy around quick corners? understeering?

Re:b20z or b16a turbo...
but cost wise, he already has a b16, so might as well just spend the money on a better turbo setup rather then a b20, like build the b16!!! :)

Re:b20z or b16a turbo...
I wouldn't buy the b20 until I sold the b16...I'm not made of money!!! But I would like to build the b16. After I boost it to death, I plan to build it. But I'll do what I can right now.

Re:b20z or b16a turbo...
what car is this in... and where do u live? I would puchase the b16 from you, ,if it was complete.

Re:b20z or b16a turbo...
The b16 can take a lot of boost stock...if you got good fuel management. I've heard of people boosting to 21 psi with stock internals...well only when at the track, but daily driven they reduce the boost
