b20b crx
Here is the deal i have a friend who was give a 88crx with clear title. He is willing to give it to my brother. And we were playing with the idea of putting a motor in it and making it a beater/sleeper/daily driver and i was thinking b18a atfirst, because i have a b18b in my 90 civic and we know what all is involved. He was thinking maybe b16a1 just to have something diffrent. But he wants to stay around 1,500 dollars for the hole swap. And i got looking on ebay and was thinking b20b. Anyone have this. I assume it uses the same mounts? And also can we run an non obd distributor, injectors, map, alt ? Also will a b18a trans mount up and what axles to use
?
?
http://www.driveshaftshop.com/ for axles. Any other axles setup will not be ideal. From axle binding to axle chatter.
But you can use 86-89 Integra axles and halfshaft. Some mount kits require 90-93 integra axles. Remember to ask when getting your mount kit.
You will need a intake manifold from a 90-01 LS Integra.
90-93 Integra shift linkage, shortened.
A 90-93 Integra rear transmission mount.
Lastly a OBD0 bseries distributor; http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=763855

pretty simple stuff.
do some searches. Check HAsports site for axles/fitment. Youll need to change the intake mani for it to fit under the hood.
If youre familiar with the b18b in your civic, its the same deal. you can use anything bolt on from a b18b. The differences are in the bore and pistons.
