b20b cams question

i'm building up an ls motor for now, and don't have too much money for aftermarket cams as of yet, but i heard b20b cams as an alternative and are kind of like a "stage1" cam. i was wondering if that was true because i thought ls engines were the same as b20's being the only difference the bore size.

i had them in my motor and if you tink about it the redline in a b20b 5500 rpms, and b18a is 6500 so i dont think they'

Re:b20b cams question

if you have a b18a, get b18b or b20z (b20b has less duration) intake cam, if you have a b18b, you have the "best" cams already/ same as b20z... Not worth the time IMO, even if the cams are free, you won't "FeeL" anything... trust me... but if you do decide to change anyway, I got 2 nice b18b cams here collecting dust... make me an offer

Just an FYI, I have a stock B20Z head in great condition with 30k on it if you are interested.

Re:b20b cams question

just stick with ls cams if u dont have the cash to upgrade. just make sure they are manual cams not the automatic ones.
