Default b20b ?

are ls rods the same as b20?

How thick are the cylinder wall? (I heard they were thin walled but the one I just picked up are pretty thick)

can I run gsr water pump? (is this necessary if goin vtec)

thats about all right now

Same rods just a bigger bore of 84mm vs 81mm of B18A/B and the sleeves are a little thinner of less supported either way they are weaker.The GSR pump you can use it isnt required.You will need a GSR timing belt to go with the pump if you go that way.

Its the design of the b20 that makes it weak under high compression or boost.

What do you think? Pour the block near solid with epoxy and say ---- it, or go B18A/B bottom end?

I think both routes have their merits, but the fact that B18 success stories are a dime a dozen assuages the conscience.

I had an Idea of making a brace about 1/2" around the sleeves then solid fillin the gap. then fill from the from the pump up. what do you think I wonder if it would help?

Dude just fill the whole damn b20 block with devcon and use an electric water pump!

interesting idea but it woundn't cool at all straight drag only block run for no more that 1min at a time

fill to the bottom of the pump, throw the salt in, put it in for another 1/2 inch and drill it for the fluid to run through it
