b20 + type r

Default b20 + type r

would the b20 block and an acura type r head be a good setup?
i found a brand new type r head combo on ebayfor like 1800

holy ---- that's alot for a head, but it's your money not mine. and I paid 150 shipped for my block (LS), but with no pistons, rods, or flywheel.

the engine is complete and the head comes with cams, vavles,springs,valvcover and a few other things

I'm not really knowledgeable about the type-R head market. just do what you gotta do.

I'm sure a B20/R would be a good setup. I think its more involved than just slapping the head on the shortblock. do some research its been covered a ton of times.

check out ls/vtec tech up at the top for some info. look for the link to c-speed racing, they have a great writeup on it.

that is way to much, a complete ITR head usually goes for 1000 or so. and a that head on a b20 block is freaking awesome. it is really good for n/a.

if its for boost, wouldnt a GSR head be better because it produces lower compression and such? I am probably wrong since I dont know ---- about hondas, just listen to what my friends ay, but I probably heard wrong
