b18c-R in an LS

hey guys
I have recently swaped a obd2 96 b18c-R into my obd1 94 integra LS. The reson for obd2 engine is because it was originally bought for a obd2 99 gsr sedan with no engine.

This is my first engine swap, I was confident in all the mechanical stuff because the engines are basically the same except wiring. My friend told me that if I was to do the swap he would be able to do the wiring for me. The engine is in and everthing is hooked including the wiring.

When I check for cel codes it is just constant light and when i try and start it up it turns over but does not fire. I was wondering if anbody has any wiring info so i could check me friends work, or possibly send it out to hasport.

thanks in advance

Did you convert the car to obd-2. Solid cel is a bad ground causing a blown fuse.

its a OBD1 car...so is the light on the dash just come on solid or is it a solid CEL? the light will only blink when jumpped...

Do you want to know when ill be out of town and where i keep the spare key too? LOL. Im in WI. In the heat of the moment we forgot to hook up any of the grounds and it woulndt turn over. Now that we connected them it turns over but it wont start. The weird thing is that after a while having the key in the on position the radiator fan will turn on and also as soon as i try to start it the fans come on. This really sucks because im in college and can only work on my car when im home on the weekends. Any help would be very helpful.

More info like what obd are you running. Etc. I'm not a mind reader

all you have to do is use your obd1 injectors and obd1 dizzy on the new engine, everything else plug right up, except for the vtec since your ls didn't have vtec. you'll need a p72 ecu at least to get it running right and run wires for vtec to the ecu pins.

Im not following the "CEL is solid, not blinking"
This is after you jump the plug correct?
Sorry if its a douchebag question but i want to make sure youre checking the code right. If you checked the grounds and the ecu isnt throwing an actual code, just a solid, try another ecu. The only times ive heard of a solid CEL have been grounds or bad ecu.

Elaborate a bit more alos, that may help get better info from us.

It has a solid cel code when jumped, and the grounds are all connected, the ecu should be fine because i was driving the car jus fine before the swap.

Re:b18c-R in an LS

I got the injectors swapped over from the LS but when I went to swap the dizzy it dont fit because one of the flanges is right where the vtec soliniod is. Do you suggest cutting the flange or purchasing a type r or grs dizzy that would fit with the vtec soli.

I also noticed that the plugs do not match up the power and the signal are together on the harness but separate on the obd1 dizzy.
