Default B18C Integra Type R?

Does the 2000 integra Type R have a B18C or B18C-5 or even different engine?

I might buy a yellow, 2000 Integra Type R w/theft salvage title. Its missing the cylinder head, radiator, seats, door panels/handles, spoiler, taillights, and ecu. for $8500...

Let me know what you guys think of this deal.

thanks

I wouldnt do it for 2 reasons..For 1 it has a salvage title which means if you ever did try and sell the car you would never really get what you wanted out of it. For 2 is because you can buy any Integra whether it be an RS, an Ls, or a GSR and drop the ITR engine and tranny into it and have just as good of a car. You can pick up RS's and LS's for around $3000 and GSR's for about $5000-$6000 and then the entire from clip of an ITR is about $4500...I would do that, but thats just me..

I just find it to be a huge project to swap an engine and i just want a real Type R you know what i mean. My stepdad can paint the car for free, i would just buy the paint.

I found a cheap cylinder head for it here:

High performance too.

id go for the gsr to type r wannabe. but if you REALLY want a type r..just get it. theres always another dumbass out there that will pay a ridiculous price for a salvage title itr. but to correct the gsr/ and type r. the type r body is really diff from the other integs. lighter...diff welds.....more aluminum.....stiffer swaybars,pumps,doors,suspension,etc...and the list goes on. just get it if you like what you see. i think its pretty cheap for a 2000....but it better have less then 35000 miles.
