B18b w/ b16 pistons Q??

I have a 94 integra with a B18b and did a compression test. From the looks of it the rings are going, Low comp. Question is I have a brand new set of b16 PR3 piston and wanted to know if I put them in my B18b could I run it with stock engine management and fuel management?

Re: B18b w/ b16 pistons Q??

compression will be MUCH worse, considering the b16 have a smaller bore size :P

Aint they both 81mm? And will I be Able to run stock management with that setup? Motor has no mods just needs new pistons and rings and have PR3's laying around.

ull probably be ok without management and if u ping just retard the dizzy a bit

if your rings are shot its best to start with a fresh slate by getting overbore pistons and doing the required machine work to the block

your going to need to run 91+ but it should be fine with out any other mods. keep im mind theres no knock sensor so if you dont get 91+ your computer wont save you.

honestly a re-ring of your old pistons would prolly be fine unless you want more compression (this is a turbo site) however if the motors at the point it needs rings then theres proly more wrong than that... maybe seals and gaskets

How about Pr3's and a thicker head gasket. By any chance does anyone know if they will give me more hp and how much,Just wondering?
