b18 non vtec valve covers

i am working on building a b18b block but didnt think much about the different years. now i am buying parts and i am noticing some things. i got a b18a head yesterday and then i started looking around for a valve cover and saw 2 types. can i use the obd2 smooth valve cover on my b18a head?

i think so, don't quote me on that....see if you can do a test fit and make sure the bolt holes line up

i doubt i will be buying locally so i have to know before i spend the money. with all of the people in jax FL there isnt much going on here with imports so finding parts is hard. usually my parts are shipped

all b18a b18b valve covers fit the same. you can even use the b20 crv valve covers.

they work, trust me. one minor problem is that the PCV valve in the smooth cover doesnt really go anywhere on the b18a1.

Be careful...some b18b covers can also look like the b18a one's as well. My friend has a b18b in his 95 coupe and it still has the older looking b18a valve cover. I think from 97+ and from CRV's have the smooth finish vc.
