b18/b20 head compression
 
i comp tested my engine, 155 155 155 150.

are those numbers normal? with my b18 head they were around 160-165.

I wouldnt worry that much man. Different methods of testing yeilds diff. #'s ya know. They are all about the same, thats what counts.

No direct exp. w/ them, but Im almost 100% sure B20/B18 heads are the same.

same in regards to combustion chamber?

cause the intake ports on this head are a lot bigger than the ones on my b18 head.

hmm, so the intake ports are different? But the valves seem to be the same size? Maybe they are just shaped diff. to accomodate diff. intake mani's

Never compared one firsthand so dont listen to me. :P

i compared them first hand, and they're A LOT bigger.

your numbers are kinda low, but since they are very close to eachother, you need not worry. if theres a 15-20% (28psi max) differential between the highest and lowest numbers then you have a problem.

id redo the test and make sure you do it properly. if it comes out the same and you want to know where youre leaking then can do a leakdown test with a compressor and a 20$ gauge/adapter.
