i found out its in the 92-93 gsrs and its a 1.7 literand has a 160 hp @ 7600 rpms and 131 hp gets to the wheels stock

its an awesome engine, yet very rare. my friend is selling a bunch of parts off of his, he took it apart and is puttin a new gsr motor in.

Its basicly a B16a with a differnt crank.. thats it. The extra displacement give's it just a bit more torque than the b16

Same pistons, same head etc etc.

does this engine have more capabilites than a b16a or are they same cause i found out bout this engine in the morn and want to get 1 mayde cause there rare but i need to be able to kill a fully built b16a

uhm, as I stated, they are pretty much the same thing, as far as getting this and killing a fully built b16 its really going to come down to tuning/car/setup etc.. You will have no advantage.

And we are speaking "Fully Built" does it really matter since you will be sleeving it and going with huge pistons to become a 1.8ish/1.9l?
