b16 TB on a d16

What year b16 TB will fit on a d16z6? Are there any noticeable gains doing this ?

Hey, so your dad finally gave you your car back? :-X

So does anyone know which will fit? Any improvements?

I belive you can use any B series that has the bolt spaces even. I tried an LS tb on a friends mpfi swap and the bottom studs were spaced futher apart than the holes on the tb. If you're running a z6 or y8 you should be fine. Be sure to port match the tb with the im. Otherwise you really don't get the full benifit of the swap.

What kind of gains do you really get? And i heard if you use like a first gen b16 TB it eliminates the check valves? ???

it will elinate the check valves by allowing you to use a missing link. thats because it has the map sensor right on the TB rather than on the firewall. if you have no missing link, then u still need the check valves.

they make a missing link for both types of map sensors
