b16 swap wiring help *pics to help*

well I just got my swap from HMO on friday, and I'm now finishing up the wiring and getting ready to throw it in my new hatch.

I added all the vtec wires and knock sensor already.

I'm using a 93 DX wiring harness.

After taking the b16 harness off, switching all the wiring, and putting the DX haness back on I'm left with 2 plugs that don't have a location. One of these two plugs goes to the o2 sensor.

Plug 1:
this is located near the dizzy and vtec wires, and is a 4 wire plug with the following colors: white,yellow/black, red/white, and green/white. It's the same type plug as my o2 sensor plug and I'm pretty sure its the one I need to extend.

Plug 2:
it's located right under the intake manifold where the o2 should be. It has 2 wires: red, yellow/black. I don't have any idea where it goes.

Can someone confirm that the 4 wire plug is the one for the o2 sensor? if so, why the hell is it way up by the distributor?

Can anybody help me with identifying the other 2 wire plug?

thanks guys, I appreciate your help

and if anybody is looking for a swap, go with HMO. clean ass engine :)

I believe that the two wire plug should be the crank fluctuation sensor. I got the same b16 swap from hmo and my front o2 sensor is in the same place.

Double check though

the 4 wire is ur o2, its in the front cuz on some single cams the o2 is in the upper part of the header. extend the 4 wires to reach down at the bottom. dunno bout that other 2 wire plug tho...

I am doing the same swap right now. I take it you are swapping into the ek in your avatar? Hope this isn't too much to ask but could you take a pic of how your heater hoses are routed?? I need to double check but I don't know anyone who knows honda's around my hood.

If you do get a chance, thanks,

-Jay

sorry but I'm not swapping into an EK, I sold my 6th gen and bought a 95 hatch, and thats what the engine is going into. It's obd1 so there isn't a crank fluctuation sensor, so I'm still somewhat confused where else it could go to.

sorry I can't help bro

i am 98% sure that wire is for the purge valve that sat on the back of your dx intake mani fold. this the little black soleniod that went to the charcol canister on the firewall

if u live in a emmisions state then you will need to take the solenoid off your motor. if you dont, then ---- the environment, were gonna all die anyways. ::) leave it unpluged, it wont throw a code
