B16 swap, someone help!

I know I know search, and I have, and I've even gotten help on here to figure out what the plugs are supposed to be...but now that I'm actually DOING the wiring, I'm confused again.

So according to several swap guides i'll need to run 4 wires, one is for extra O2, and 3 are for Vtec. and I've got three extra wires coming off the engine...but can't figure out the pinouts...Here is what I've done.

I cut the plugs from off the JDM harness and left some wire and have put some quick connectors on them so I can swap them around till I figure out what goes where. And I'm willing to do the try this, nope redo method but...one thing confuses me....and that is, according to the ECU pinouts ------sheet in the teg tips of G2IC I can only find two pinouts that reference Vtec on the PW0/PR3 ECU section. So...what is the pinout, or name of the pinout for the third wire?

I found one extra difference between the PR4 (what was in the car) and the PW0 pinouts other than the vtec and that is the B11 pinout which says "traces to fuse box" but WTF does that mean? and it still doesn't tell me what to do with the third wire I have coming off the engine....

I don't really need a "this green and yellow wire go to this pinout" discription, but if you wanna do that it's cool, but I would like to know, where in the fuse box does B11 need to go, and what is the other pinout for the third Vtec wire, so far I'm spliced into B5 and A8.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Re: B16 swap, someone help!

there should be five wires...

knock
vtec oil pressure signal
vtec oil pressure ground
vtec solenoid signal
secondary o2.

the vtec oil pressure ground can just ground to the block, or to any ground in the harness. the secondary o2 goes to c16, primary to c8(I think) (you have to switch them, not sure if you read that in the guide).

if you're not running knock, then you'll only have four wires. ground the one vtec solenoid one, and you're laughing.

(*&@#!%$% car! :-) I'm about to take it and drop it off at a shop to see if they can fix it....

OK, so i've got one wire off the vtec dealio grounded, and two going to the ECU A8 and B5, i've tried 20 different combonations (putting all three wires to all three locations at one time or another, and each time resetting the ECU so the codes go away, and alwasy the CEL comes back, and NEVER does the vtec work. i'm now getting a code 23 and 12 (I think) but I thought the b16a1 didn't HAVE knock (code 23) does the PW0 ECU demand knock even though the engine doesn't have it?

hrrmmmmm....as much help as possible is needed, any OBD0 wiring guro's from new mexico willing to just come by and fix this shite!?

end rant...thanks for all help so far, but it hasn't done the trick yet....

if you are using the pr4 instead of the pr3/pwo you will get the CEL.use the right ecu.pr4 has no vtec goodness in it.

pr3/pw0 require knock to not throw a code, and all B16s should have knock sensors.

not sure why you're throwing a code 12, double check that one.

as for the vtec wiring

A8 goes to the vtec solenoid, the single wire one.
B5 goes to the pressure switch, the two wire sensor.
B19 gets the knock sensor.

if you can't hit vtec, check to make sure you have speed signal, water temperature, and make sure you're >20km/h.
