b16?????
i just bought a 2000 civic si and it has a b16a motor that they swap in the car i dont know why but i think it was stupid of them to do that, but any ways they converted the ecu to obd1 to obd2. im trying to find out if this is good for the motor. The other question I have is the motor JDM or USDM. All it says in the block is b16a. if the ecu (obd2) needs to be change what ecu should i get for the engine? ??? ???

Re: b16?????
the jdm motor it runs a little rough . The only thing is that the purge control solenoid is missing, also the vacuum hose for the canister is not connected to the mani and i get a check light (code p1457) which is :evap system leak detected in canister area. the motor is eating alot of gas.

Re: b16?????
2000 civic si came with a b16 anyways...so youve got a jdm b16..sounds like a b16a2/3 with a conversion to obd1 ecu...
