B16 to 1.8

Default B16 to 1.8

i was in the point to buy a set of GSR internals (pistons and rods) OEM for my b16 but..the guy is selling told me that rods wont fit into b16 block... id like to get 1.8 to b16 (without to buy a b18 block of course uz here they are very expensive )... any suggestion? ill boost it of course..

i thought that the b16's and b18's all had the same bore, just different stroke.... right?

the B16A block is shorter than a B18A/B, B18C, B20B/Z... you cant put a crank from a 1.8 or 2.0 in a B16A without CUSTOM rods...

You can't get a b18b in europe as far as i know.

a guy that was selling a set of gsr pistons and rods told me pistons will fit good but not the rods just for 4mm or so.. i want to pass to 1.8 with just oem pars but i see it's impossible, then i will boost the b16.. it could make alot of power too but.... i hope my engine stand arrives in this days!

in spain engines are expensive to me...
