hello everyone.
my autometer egt showing 100f when key is out.
i used + from the source above the inner fues box and ground from the body.

its wierd cause when i disconnect the battery the gauge goes back to 0.

need some help.

which tap did you use, the one thats always hot?

That would explain it reading 100F until you kill the power.

 

what do you mean allways hot?

i checked the (+) source with a volt meter and it shows 0v when the key is off/out.
with the key on. it shows 12v.


kinda frustrating.....

 

might be getting backfeed from something, DC is a PITA like that sometimes.

 

get a noise cancelling thing from radioshack they use for car amps
