automatic to standard
 
successfull swap from d16 auto to b18b1 standard. does any one know if i can take out the switches for the automatic ----? i have the correct ecu. and was wanting to know if i had to jump any wires or just unplug the auto ---- all together. O0

Yes theres two wires you have to loop togather. cant remember right off wich ones. But search im sure its on here some where.

i just did this with my sedan, leave it in park when you take it apart, and if you mess it up you can switch the little white box that hides in the shifter console. just move it till the park light comes on and unhook everything else (except the white box)

or you can do trial and error and loop the wires, which is what i eventually did but i dont remember which ones and im to lazy to go take my console back apart.

wow. This is basic ---- people.

Just connect the two largest wires, it will be obvious when you look at the shifter harness. That will take care of the ignition problems.

You have to switch or modify your ECU. Other than that everything can stay the same. You will be without reverse lights (which are for pussies), and you will not have a clutch safety switch (also weaksauce)
