code 14: EACV/IAC --->no cold (high) idle if dead. get a new/used one.
code 17: VSS...I THINK the PR3 needs an electric, not mechanical, vehicle speed sensor to generate the signal...

Where is the iac located and what cars or motors have a compatable match.

EACV (Eletronic Air Control Valve - code 14) can be "tricked" by putting a 10W 10ohm resistor (radio shack #271-0132) instead of running wires to your EACV, then adjust your idle with your idle screw on thr throttle body.

Save some money.. ;)

do you have how to site for this method? where do you put the resistor at the ecu? any ideas why i redline at 7300?

Is the EACV on the tb or on the intake manifold? If anyone can tell me what wires to hook the 10 ohm resistor to i would appreciate it also.
