Auto obd2a to obd1 question,
sup, i need some help/advice on this one.
my friend asked me to tune his 98 automatic turbod D. so i got a random obd2a to obd1 harness and its missing the AT related wires, i looked at FFSQUAD and the missing wires on the obd2 side are: connector C: TMB (AT related to tcm) ATP (park and N or clutch switch) ATCHK (detects tcm signal) AFSA (AT tcm related) AFSB (AT tcm related) connector A: SLU (brake lock) any one know how/where to wire them on the obd1 side? thanks |

Re: Auto obd2a to obd1 question,
if i remember correctly, it wont work. you need a obd2 ecu to control the 96+ trans because it different.
tell you faggot friend to convert to manual and stop being a -----. unless he has one leg of course, but thats the only excuse. |
Re: Auto obd2a to obd1 question,
actuely yes, my friend is handicapped ::)
i dont see how they are different, mechanism is the same, as far as i remember, when i used to work for a honda dealer we installed "obd2 trannys"(used ones) on 92-95 civics. this is what i came up with, (copied from my massage on HT) i found the 6 wires that are missing on both sides of the harness, But the acronyms for the pins in obd1 and obd2 are not the same so i'm having hard time mix & mach them 6 wires. this is what i come up with: obd1 side acronyms : CON A: -pin (18) TCM ??? CON B: -pins 3 +4 (A/T related) ???? -pin (7) clutch switch + park & N -pin (9) TMA/FAS + starter switch CON D: -pin (18) interlock control unit And to the OBD2A side: CON C: TMB (AT related to tcm) ATP (park and N or clutch switch) ATCHK (detects tcm signal) AFSA (AT tcm related) AFSB (AT tcm related) CON A: SLU (brake lock) please, help me miv & match :P |
