!!attn: all ef owners!!!
as a result of age heat and moisture the fuel pipe that connets the tank to the outside, rusted and cracked( the vent tube in particular) . i have a few other ef's laying around checked them and they broke in my hands. this is a 121$ dealer part witch requires the removal of back seats and drivers side rear interior plastic. also the damn tank too >:( a reminder to all to check ur pipes.
any old shcool honda dealer mechanic would remember the fuel filler pipe recall on the 87-89 accords. i guess honda has had a problem with this. hummmm :P |
